Hristo Tchechmedjiev
Hristo is a master of acoustics and has dedicated his life
to the improvement of the sound to make the musicians happy. He has been in
many competetions in several countries including Italy in 1979 when he won medals and a diploma for his violin, viola and
cello in the International Competition for Luthiers "Antonio Stradaveri." The sound of his instruments have since surpassed
this level and rival the highest qualities of sound (the Bel Canto singing voices of the old Italian instruments)
available in the world today.

Yuriy Hristev Tchechmedjiev
Hristo's nephew Yuriy, is a fine violinmaker
in his own right. He carries on the family tradition in Sacramento in his shop "Sacramento Violins." Yuriy began
his violinmaking career in Bulgaria as an apprentice to his uncle at the age of 10. He is highly talented in this art as well
as a professional cellist and classical guitarist. Currently, he is making new, affordable instruments for you with the highest
quality of sound which will project in any hall.
